Hello Cutieasaurus – My favorite things

Hallo ihr Lieben! Zählt ihr auch schon die Tage bis zum Lawn Fawn Release so wie ich? Zum Glück kommt in der Zwischenzeit noch ein Mama Elephant Release und ein paar Sets habe ich ja auch noch zu Hause 😉 Baby-Karten kann man ja nie genug auf Vorrat haben und so habe ich mich entschieden, das süße Set „Cutieasaurus“ von My favorite things für eine Babykarte zu verwenden. Dafür eignen sich meist fast alle Motive.

Schon seit Ewigkeiten habe ich kein Motivpapier mehr für Karten verwendet. Daher verwendete ich für die heutige Karte ein Papier von der Lawn Fawn Serie Watercolor Wishes für den Hintergrund. Ich hab das Papier einfach mit einer Rahmenstanze ausgestanzt und mit der Grassy Edge Schablone von My favorite things und Distress Farbe in peeled paint das ganze ein wenig aufgepeppt, so dass die Dinos in einer Wiese stehen können.

Danach habe ich die Motive mit Archival jet black Stempelfarbe gestempelt (ist wasserfest) und mit Zig clean color real brush Stiften koloriert. Ein paar Details mit einem weißen Gel Stift und schon waren sie fertig und bereit zum Stanzen. Einen süßen Strampler, Kleiderhaken und ein Herz habe ich mit dem tollen Set „Bundle of Baby Clothes“ auch von My favorite things ausgestanzt. Für den Strampler und Kleiderhaken verwendete ich Distress Farben, um sie etwas aufzuhübschen.

Vom Stempelset Cutieasaurus habe ich nur das Wort Cutieasaurus in die Mitte des Hintergrunds gestempelt und danach die Motive angeklebt. Ein Stück Schnur habe ich dann zwischen den Dinos mit Flüssigkleber befestigt und dazu kamen noch die gestanzten Baby-Teile.

Mit einer hello Stanze ebenfalls von My favorite things fügte ich eine goldenes „Hallo“ hinzu und nachträglich habe ich mich dann doch noch für zwei Wolken entschieden, um den leeren Platz im rechten oberen Eck zu befüllen. Ich wählte eine mint-farbene Kartenbasis und fertig war die Baby-Karte.

Hello everyone! Are you also counting the days until the awesome Lawn Fawn release? Luckily there will be a Mama Elephant to shorten the waiting time and some sets are waiting for me in my stash too 🙂 Since you can never have too much baby cards I decided to use the sweet set „Cutieasaurus“ from My favorite things for a new baby card. Nearly all images are appropriate for this kind of card.

I haven’t used pattern paper on cards for ages so I went with a paper from the Lawn Fawn series watercolor wishes for the background today. I diecut the sheet of paper with a stitched rectangle die and used the grassy edge stencil from My favorite things together with peeled paint distress ink to create a fun grass border.

Afterwards I stamped the images with Archival jet black ink (waterproof) and colored them in with Zig clean color real brush markers. I added some details with a white gel pen and the images were ready to go. I also diecut a sweet baby cloth and accessories with the set „Bundle of Baby Clothes“ frm My favorite things. I used some distress inks to add color to the diecuts.

I stamped the word Cutieasaurus in the middle of the background and adhered the images. I also adhered a piece of grey yarn with liquid glue and added the baby cloth.

With a hello die from My favorite things I added a sparkly golden „Hello“ and afterwards I also adhered two clouds so that the top corner on the right won’t remain empty. I chose a minty colored cardbase and the baby card was all done.
