Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich bin zurück mit einer neuen Karte mit der ‚Little Chickie Agenda‚ von Mama Elephant. Ich weiß gar nicht aus welchem Grund genau, aber ich wollte unbedingt aus den süßen Küken kleine Calimeros kreieren. Da diese ja schwarz werden würden und auch die Eierschalen am Kopf nicht so bunt sind, wollte ich dazu einen farbenfrohen Hintergrund gestalten.

Ich habe zunächst die ‚Circular Grid‚ Stanze von weißem Cardstock gestanzt und danach die Kartenbasis auf das gleiche Maß zugeschnitten. Mit Hilfe von der Circular Grid Stanze habe ich mir die einzelnen Zwischenräume eingezeichnet. Ich wollte in jeder Reihe der gestanzten Kreise eine andere Farbe als Hintergrund und wählte Distress Oxides, um etwas Farbe aufzutragen. (fossilized amber, scattered straw, dried marigold und picked raspberry)

Anschließend schnitt ich mir zwei Lagen Moosgummi Streifen zu, die ich mit 1/8 Scoretape versah und zwischen den gestanzten Kreisen befestigte. Zuvor habe ich noch ein Blatt durchsichtigen Cardstock (= acetate; eine feste Folie würde auch gehen) auf den gestanzten Raster geklebt. Ich wählte noch passende Pailletten aus meinem Fundus und nachdem alles gefüllt war, kam dann die farbenfrohe Kartenbasis darauf. Fertig war der Hintergrund.

Die süßen Küken sowie die Eierschalen habe ich mit Copic Stiften koloriert. Das ging ganz schnell, weil ich immer die gleichen Farben verwendete. Nachdem sie alle auf dem Hintergrund platziert waren, habe ich die ‚Hooray Script‚ Stanze von Mama Elephant 3x aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und übereinander geklebt. Die Schrift und einige Wackelaugen kamen dann noch auf die Karte.

Hello everyone! I am back with a new card using the adorable ‚Little Chickie Agenda‚ from Mama Elephant. I don’t know exactly the reason for it but I really wanted to create some sweet Calimeros with the stamps. Due to the black color and the pale eggshell I decided to go with a colorful background.

First I diecut the ‚Circular Grid‚ die from white cardstock and cut the white card base to the same size. With the help of the circular grid I made some pencil lines to be able to color in the compartments with different colors. Each row of circles should have a different color. I chose fossilized amber, scattered straw, dried marigold und picked raspberry distress oxide ink for blending the layers.

Then I cut some fun foam and added 1/8″ scoretape to create four different compartments. Before that I had added a sheet of acetate behind the circles. I chose matching sequins from my stash and adhered the cardbase on top of it. Now the background was all done.

The sweet chickies and their eggshells were colored with Copic markers. This was very fast because I needed only a few different colors. After adhering them onto the background I diecut the ‚Hooray Script‚ die from Mama Elephant 3x from white cardstock and stacked them on top of each other. Last but not least I added the diecut word and some goofy eyes to the card.
